The Pumpkin Patch Cookery and Gardening Workshops teach children of all abilities in a fun and educational way. These life skills will give children the confidence and the ability to try cooking and gardening for themselves for years to come.
The Pumpkin Patch Workshops are held at my home, at Allt y Gôg Farm. We run classes on Saturday mornings and after school on Thursdays for primary age (8+) and Monday evenings for secondary school age (11+). Holiday Clubs meet each Tuesday of the school holidays and are a mixture of cookery, gardening and craft.
All cookery workshops are held in Allt y Gôg’s farmhouse kitchen where we have sufficient space for up to 10 budding chefs aged 8+ and 12+; all classes must be booked in advance, due to space being limited.
The gardening workshops introduce children to the delight of growing their own fruit and vegetables. Each child has a small vegetable patch of their own and the vegetables they harvest are stored, cooked or preserved in future Sticky Fingers Cookery Classes.
